Australian Health Policy Institute research staff and students collaborate extensively with government and non-government organisations, locally and internationally, on a range of research projects. The Institute has three themes: Futures; Equity; and Serious Continuing Illness.

Teaching...
In 2006 the australian Health Policy Institute and the School of Public Health will launch a new postgraduate program in health policy, filling a large gap in current professional training. It will be:

• Interdisciplinary: drawing on the main health and sociel science disciplines involved in policy analysis.
• Comparative: locating Australian experience in its global setting.
• Industry-focused: working closely with policy professionals in the private and non-government organisation sectors as well as government.
