Continuing Professional Development
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses have been developed as a result of wide consultation across Australia with key nursing stakeholders to ensure that the current educational needs of all Australian nurses are catered to. These courses are also built on the strength of experience in providing postgraduate and ongoing education to nurses at all stages of their careers since 1949.
Each course clearly outlines the number of CPD hours that can be claimed once completed, assisting you in achieving the requisite hours of continuing development required by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) for your annual renewal of your authority to practice.

Australian College of Nursing delivers these courses in a variety of modes - face-to-face, distance education, online or a combination of these. We have an online portal called CNnect dedicated to providing a range of online CPD courses. ACN is continually adding to these courses.
