Continuing Education - Face to Face

We offer a wide range of continuing education courses at the College and in a variety of city and country locations for registered nurses. Continuing Professional Development is part of our mission to facilitate the educational development of nurses.
All face-to-face continuing professional development courses can be conducted at relatively short notice and at a venue suitable to the customer, or a course tailor-made to meet your organisation's specific needs.

Enrolment Information


Application criteria

Applicants seeking admission to continuing professional development courses are required to:

1. Be currently registered or enrolled with the appropriate registering authority in the state or territory of Australia in which they are employed, or from a country whose registration/enrolment is recognised by Australian registering authorities, and provide proof of this with their application form.

2. Be an allied health professional with appropriate qualifications in a state/territory in Australia, in which they practice. The College reserves the right to offer admission to other health professional on receipt of written application outlining learning needs and capacity to successfully complete the course.

Send your application with the course fee (or 'payment by employer' section completed) so that it reaches the College no later than 10 working days before the course commencement date. Course places are assigned in order of receipt of applications.

Course Fees

Group discounts are available for four (4) or more participants provided all participants enrol at the same time and provide a single payment for all applicants.
Fees are correct at time of publication and subject to change without notice.

Refund Policy

Please choose your course carefully. All courses are subject to a non-refundable application fee to cover administration costs. The amount of the application fess is 10% of the course fee or $25 (whichever is greater) to a maximum of $450. The College cannot accept responsibility for changes in work release or personal circumstances. Refunds for Continuing Education courses will only be available where a minimum of 10 working days notice is given of withdrawal from a course.

Cancellation Policy

Students paying for their own air fares are advised to obtain travel insurance to cover potential losses in the event of course cancellation. The College reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course at any time for any reason as determined by the College. Where the College cancels a course, the full course fee, including the application fee will be refunded.


Member discounts

College members are entitled to a minimum 10% discount all continuing education courses. Members are also entitled to a 10% discount on the following items:
• All College merchandise
• Professional events
• Library literature searches


Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

All continuing education, distance education and professional development activities attract CPD hours.


Goods and Services Tax

The College is obliged to charge GST on all continuing professional development courses. The advertised course price included 10% GST.
