Expresions of Interest - Tutor/Marker's from Victoria for Immunisation for Registered Nurses

The College is currently seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified and experienced Registered Nurse immunisers to tutor/mark for the 'Immunisation for Registered Nurses', and online distance education subject.

Applicants for the position of a tutor/marker must be a registered nurse with a current practising certificate; and have a certificate in a relevant nurse immuniser program and have relevant experience within immunisation. Our 'Immunisation for Registered Nurses' course is a 12 week online distance education course which on successful completion the RN can administer vaccinations without the direction of a medical officer within NSW and VIC. The work is on a casual basis, designed to fit in and around your existing obligations and you can tailor your hours to suit your needs.

Expressions of Interest – Clinical facilitators in Queensland


The College is looking for motivated, qualified registered nurses to provide support in our Assessment of Competence program. This program is for overseas-qualified nurses, or nurses returning to practice and have been referred by AHPRA. This program is conducted several times a year in NSW and next year we anticipate that several programs will be conducted in Brisbane.


Each program is delivered over eight weeks. It consists: of a theoretical component of 150 hours undertaken over 4 weeks (2 assessments), followed by a clinical component of 150 hours undertaken over 4 weeks (2 assessments), at a medical facility. A student must be successful in each assessment to be recommended for registration with AHPRA.

Applicants must be a registered nurse with current practising certificate and facilitation experience. A Certificate IV in TAA/TAE and appropriate postgraduate specialty qualifications is highly desirable, as well as being familiar with ANMC Competency Standards. The work is on a casual basis as negotiated.

Expressions of Interest - Course facilitators

The College is constantly on the lookout for motivated, qualified Registered Nurses to provide support in our Continuing Professional Development courses. These courses consist of one to three day courses that are delivered in Sydney and sometimes rural NSW. Facilitators will create the material and present the course to help participants meet the learning outcomes of the programs, as designated by The College.

Applicants must be a registered nurse with current practising certificate and facilitation experience. A Certificate IV in TAA/TAE and appropriate post graduate specialty qualifications is highly desirable. The work is on a casual basis as negotiated.
