NURSE EDUCATORS - FULL TIME AND PART TIME
ONE YEAR CONTRACT OR SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY

FULL TIME POSITIONS for Registered Nurses are available in

  • Cardiac nursing
    The successful applicant will be required to facilitate courses in cardiac nursing including the Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing  cardiac stream
  • Emergency nursing
    The emergency nurse educator will be responsible for the coordination and facilitation of students in emergency nursing courses

PART TIME POSITIONS for Registered Nurses are available in

  • Perioperative nursing - 4 days per week
    The successful applicant will be responsible for facilitation and coordination of the Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing

  • Assessment and training - 5 days per fortnight
    The successful applicant will work within a team environment to facilitate courses including refresher, assessment of competence, EN medication, EN diploma upgrade and Advanced Diploma

  • Project Officer Education Development - 6 month contract 
    The successful applicant will project coordinate the development of resources (DVD and print-based resources) for registered nurses who are community service providers to clients of the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA).
    Applications should address the following selection criteria: Qualifications and experience in mental health nursing, community nursing and working with DVA clients; strong experience in education and training, especially in the preparation of written materials; experience in the development of multimedia resources, eg script preparation; capacity to work within a team and facilitate diverse stakeholder engagement; high level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in the preparation, review and editing of correspondance, briefings, evaluations, reports and educational resources; demonstrated project management skills; ability to travel nationally

Salary will be paid at Nurse Educator Grade 1 Year 1 at $$1536.20 per week.

Please note: Position descriptions attached are written for full time staff members. Part time positions are pro rata hours, eg 0.5 full time equivalent would work 76 hours per fortnight. Position requirements are the same.

ENROLLED NURSE - LABORATORY ASSISTANT
An Enrolled Nurse position is currently available. The successful applicant will be required to support educators and students who use the College clinical room/laboratory. Salary will be paid at EN level, depending on qualifications and experience.
