Student Learning Resources

The College subject and course information books are an essential guide for students. They provide information and guidelines on studying with the College and include assessments, policies and procedures, administrative forms and guidelines for learning.

On CNnect, you will find the Student Management Policy, course and subject information, resources, discussion forums, links to websites, and study and assessment timetables relevant to your course.

The Student Management Policy includes information on payment of fees and refunds.

Course Articulation

Opportunities for College graduates
: College courses are structured to articulate with university courses should a student wish to undertake a College course as a specialty stream within a university course. Students are encouraged to negotiate with universities, many of whom give credit for specific programs of study at the College. Each student is expected to seek such credit and/or exemptions individually on the basis of merit. College staff members are happy to advise you on such applications.

Student Services Centre

The Student Services Centre was established in May 1995 in response to the increasing numbers of courses being offered by the College and the need to provide a central point of contact for students and prospective students where they could acquire information regarding College courses. Establishing this service then enabled the course coordinators to concentrate on assisting student with their learning outcomes rather than administration.

Any member of the Student Service Centre is able to answer enquiries related to any of the College courses or programs, although each has expertise in a specific area or areas.

For any enquiries regarding courses offered by The College of Nursing please do not hesitate to contact any of the members of the Student Services Centre.
